About Us
Artwork Gallery and Cafe was set up by Future Health and Social Care and provides a range of visual art activities to adults aged 18-65 with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. The project also provides pre-employment, life skills training and volunteering opportunities through gallery activities and the cafe.
The gallery space gives members the opportunity to sell and exhibit work whilst the cafe provides work experience and a social environment, encouraging community participation and support.
Come and join us and discover the wide range of artistic opportunities that await you for the unbelievable introductory rate of £3.50 per person per session.
For your £3.50 you will receive:
· 1 hour 30 min Art workshop
· Expert personal support and artistic advice from experienced artist tutors
paints to pastels and charcoal, and much more………· The exciting opportunity to take part in public exhibitions
· The opportunity to sell your art work
· The opportunity to volunteer in the Artwork Café and gain work experience
· The opportunity to make new friends and explore new skills
· No pressure to achieve a qualification
